Join Pima County's Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department as an experienced Industrial Electrician. This role involves applying journeyman-level expertise in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, construction, and preventive maintenance to support essential wastewater treatment operations. The position focuses on the safe installation, repair, diagnosis, and modernization of complex electrical systems operating across high-voltage (46 kV), medium-voltage (4160 VAC), and low-voltage (480 VAC and 240/120 VAC) power systems. You will work on critical infrastructure including motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, switchgear, transformers, generators, and transfer switches, while supporting SCADA and PLC-based control systems to ensure reliable monitoring, control, and automation of plant operations. All work is performed in compliance with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, OSHA, and County safety standards, with a strong emphasis on safety, system reliability, and service to the community.
