About The Position

This role involves working as an Industrial Electrician, primarily on a night shift (6pm-6am), with initial training on the day shift. The position requires working two weekends per month. The pay rate ranges from $27.95 to $40.12 per hour, potentially adjusted based on qualifications and experience. Requirements

Technical skills to safely and proficiently work as an electrician in a plant setting.
Basic mechanical maintenance skills.
Ability to interpret and perform tasks from printed work orders.
Basic computer skills for safety training and email.
Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts.
Familiarity with common hand tools and their proper use.
Good collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Work safely by adhering to the plant’s accident prevention policies.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electrical components.
Maintain, test, and repair AC/DC motors and motor control systems.
Develop skills to troubleshoot advanced control system and instrumentation equipment, including PLC controls.
Interpret and use wiring schematics.
Operate electrical test equipment.
Understand and apply NEC codes, NFPA-70E standards, and other electrician duties in a manufacturing environment.
