This role involves performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems. The Industrial Electrician will troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment to minimize production downtime, diagnose failures in various electrical components, and install, modify, commission, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment. The position also requires reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics and drawings, and utilizing various electrical testing tools. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and machine automation systems, diagnosing PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, VFDs, servo systems, and safety circuits, and modifying PLC/HMI programs as required. The electrician will also assist with commissioning new equipment and continuous improvement projects, respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, perform machine calibrations, collaborate with other maintenance staff, operate mobile equipment safely, and complete work orders accurately.
