USG is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their Reliability Department. This role prioritizes safety and involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment. The electrician will be responsible for installing, performing preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical components within the manufacturing plant. This includes maintaining, testing, and repairing AC/DC motors and motor control systems. The role also involves developing skills to troubleshoot advanced control systems and instrumentation equipment, including PLC controls, and interpreting wiring schematics. The electrician will operate electrical test equipment and must be knowledgeable of NEC codes, NFPA-70E, and other general electrician duties in a manufacturing setting. The position is a day shift role (10 hours) with required flexibility to work off-shift for short durations. Rate of pay may be adjusted based on qualifications and experience.
