Industrial Electrician performs installation, alteration, maintenance, or service of electrical systems in complex three-phase industrial operations. Assists, completes, and/or leads crews responsible for performing a broad range of electrical tasks in accordance with National Electric Code (NEC) standards and electrical trade practices. The position deals with water, wastewater, reclaimed water treatment, pump/lift station equipment, and small systems such as switchgears, MCC’s, PLC’s, VFD’s, DSB’s, Lighting/Power Panels, UPS’s, Natural Gas Turbine Generators, and Motors ranging from ¼ - 1750HP. The candidate will be able to troubleshoot, field or bench, any of the above-listed equipment as well as perform preventative maintenance, repairs, or replacements. Candidates will be willing to work overtime as needed, must understand that participation in a 24/7 afterhours standby rotation program and disaster recovery is required after successful completion of probation.
