About The Position

Dart Container is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team. This role is critical in maintaining the electrical equipment and automated systems that ensure the manufacturing operation runs safely and efficiently. The position involves troubleshooting complex electrical systems and keeping production running.

Requirements

• Five (5) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education, apprenticeship, military experience, or trade school
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial electrical equipment and automated manufacturing systems
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting using ladder logic
• Thorough understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Advanced knowledge of Industrial electrical systems
• Advanced knowledge of Industrial controls and instrumentation
• Advanced knowledge of Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Advanced knowledge of Motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits
• Advanced knowledge of Temperature and pressure control systems

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and facility electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical issues involving motors, transformers, control panels, sensors, lighting, and other production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation
• Troubleshoot and modify Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) using basic and ladder logic
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, machine history, and equipment modifications using computerized maintenance systems (CMMS)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while following all safety and electrical standards
