Requirements

Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role
Valid Driver's License
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components in an industrial setting
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Familiarity with high-voltage systems and equipment
Experience working with low-voltage systems
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment effectively
Must be able to drive to customer sites
Frequent use of hand tools, electronic equipment, and machinery is required.
Precision and steadiness are essential for handling small components and performing delicate adjustments.
Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and kneeling periods
Close visual attention is necessary for reading schematics and detailed work on computer screens.
Good overall vision, with or without correction, is vital, including accurately distinguishing colors for wiring and safety signals
Adequate hearing is necessary for safety reasons, particularly in environments with machinery and equipment where hearing auditory alarms and signals is crucial
Technicians may need to access various locations within a facility, including climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and working at heights or in confined areas
Willingness to work in diverse conditions is necessary, as technicians may be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, and outdoor weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of commercial electrical installations is desirable

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and testing equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Install and connect wiring, conduits, switches, transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Perform other duties as assigned
