About The Position

Join our team as an Industrial Electrician! This role involves installing, repairing, modifying, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on all electrical units, controls, components, and related wiring in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will work with wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, schematic drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions for repairs, installations, and inspections. Additionally, you will maintain an inventory of electrical parts and motors, advise management on purchasing needs, and move and install equipment and facilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency with a trade school certificate
  • Must be a journeyman electrician, or have a minimum of 5 years of prior electricians training or experience
  • Experience with Allen Bradley systems, VFD's, PLC's hardware and software, AC/DC circuits, 4-20 mA through 480 VAC circuits and 440 MCC's.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and drawings, handbooks, specifications, equipment manuals, parts lists and other written material as associated with the position.
  • Ability to write code and demonstrate a working knowledge of RS Logic.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory of electrical parts and motors, advising management of purchasing requirements.
  • Move and install existing or new equipment and facilities.
