About The Position

Luck Companies is seeking an Industrial Electrician I to join their team. This role involves performing various tasks in the maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of electrical power and control systems within the construction aggregates industry. The position will support locations in Fairfield, Kershaw, and Enoree, SC, with potential travel to GA, NC, and VA.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass DOT physical to operate work truck
State Electrical license (SC requirements)
Ability to travel outside of SC to assist other locations with projects-GA/NC/VA.
2+ years industrial electrical experience
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs.
Troubleshooting and repair of control and power circuits.
Ability to ensure a safe work environment.

Nice To Haves

1+ year aggregates industry experience
1+ years' experience PLC ladder logic skill
PLC Proficiency
Project Management or Capital Projects experience

Responsibilities

Inspect wiring and equipment for proper installation.
Administer electrical preventive maintenance programs.
Maintain electrical spare parts and supplies inventory on service vehicles and in regional storage locations.
Support the Regional Operations and Electrical Engineering department in providing technical assistance to all locations as requested.
Competent in use of digital multi-meters, meggers, and other electronic instruments for field troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems including power, controls, and motors.
Document changes to field drawings.
Manage small electrical jobs.
Schedule and monitor electrical contractors on minor projects and maintenance work.
