As the Industrial Electrician Helper for Yancey Engineered Solutions, you will assist with electrical installs for industrial packaging on a daily basis and perform all duties related to industrial packaging for backup power.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3-years minimum experience as a commercial industrial or residential electrical apprentice / journeyman.
Proven experience as an electrician.
Hold a valid state electrician's license.
Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service.
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.
Working knowledge of basic electrical installation.
Willingness to learn basic electrical tasks.

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications from a technical college.

Responsibilities

Assist with basic electrical tasks: bend conduit, run wire, wire breaker panels, etc.
Keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion.
Maintain a clean work area at all times.
Demonstrate safe work habits and exhibit proper care of all tools and equipment.
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.
