About The Position

Columbus Brick, a division of General Shale Brick, is seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician for our manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Motor Control Circuits
• Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives
• Working knowledge of HMIs
• Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers – predominantly Siemens S7 & TIA Portal Allen Bradley Automation
• An Associate’s Degree in electrical or related field with experience in an industrial electrical environment
• Must be willing to work after hours and on an on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

• 5 years’ experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Working with predominantly Siemens equipment including S7 & TIA Portal
• Maintaining/troubleshooting plant electrical systems and automated equipment
• Performing scheduled preventative maintenance
• Modifying/updating software and equipment as needed
