About The Position

Xylem is seeking an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to support its locations in Mulberry, FL, and surrounding areas. This role involves servicing and maintaining water and wastewater treatment equipment, with a strong focus on industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels, instrumentation, and related components. The company is willing to train the right candidate, but prior experience in an industrial electrical or controls environment is encouraged. This position operates on a general day shift schedule (Monday–Friday) with opportunities for overtime and occasional weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of technical experience in municipal, industrial, or commercial environments with a strong emphasis on electrical systems
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical equipment, including motors, starters, control panels, sensors, and associated components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devices
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR check
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to process water, wastewater, or other industrial equipment systems preferred
• Equipment-specific training will be provided.
• Prior experience working in an industrial electrical or controls environment is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• On-site operation, electrical troubleshooting, service, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment equipment.
• Focus on industrial electrical systems, including motors, control panels, instrumentation, and related components.
• Identify and address potential safety concerns.
