About The Position
Farnsworth Group is seeking an Industrial Electrical Engineer to assume multi-project responsibilities for full electrical design including cleanroom design and process utility systems. Projects will be in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology markets. This role is available in Colorado Springs, CO or Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); or Boise, ID.
Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- 8+ years of related Electrical Design experience
- Strong knowledge of medium voltage and low voltage design
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code
- Strong verbal and writing skills.
- Strong background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD, and REVIT
- Ability to travel.
Nice To Haves
- A Professional Engineer License (PE) is strongly preferred.
- Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate Electrical system construction drawings and specifications for submittal review and construction administration.
- Prepare preliminary schematics through final designs, calculations, equipment selection, and layout.
- Maintain project design budgets and schedules while pursuing quality.
- Actively engage in and assume responsibility for code research and application.
- Interface with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
- Coordinate with other production staff.
