About The Position

Cleaver-Brooks Canada Packaged Boiler Systems, a leading manufacturer of boilers and energy recovery systems, has immediate openings for a 2nd shift Industrial Electrical Assembler at their facility located in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. The second shift runs Monday to Thursday, 4:00 pm to 2:00 am. Training will take place Monday - Thursday, 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. As an Industrial Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems for industrial boilers. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and using various hand tools to complete daily tasks. You must be familiar with this type of skill set.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrical Assembler or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring techniques.
  • Familiarity with electrical tools, meters, and testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics and diagrams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training in electrical assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical components and systems for industrial boilers.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and use various hand tools to complete daily tasks.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to assemble electrical components and systems according to specifications.
  • Mount electrical components onto panels or enclosures, ensuring proper alignment and connection.
  • Wire electrical systems, following industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical assemblies to ensure functionality and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify and resolve any issues or design improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following company procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to project schedules and meet production targets.
