About The Position

This role involves serving as a Single Threaded Leader for operational growth and performance initiatives, removing bottlenecks, and accelerating the expansion of operational capacity. The position requires evaluating performance objectives and metrics across the network to proactively identify process improvement opportunities, identifying key risks, and building/executing mitigation and contingency plans. The role also owns cost reduction initiatives for sustaining processes and influences overall terminal strategy and stakeholders beyond the direct scope. Domestic and international travel up to 25% may be required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation in industrial or mechanical engineering. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline followed by 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation in the job offered or a related occupation in industrial or mechanical engineering.
  • 3 years of experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and high-speed manufacturing.
  • 3 years of experience with process design based on Lean Principles
  • 3 years of experience in system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analyses, statistical analyses, reliability analyses, and decision making.
  • 3 years of experience in management of engineering design projects.
  • 3 years of experience using quantitative and qualitative data to drive improvements.
