  • 10+ years of progressive industrial design and product development experience in consumer products, consumer healthcare, medical devices, or related product categories.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and hands-on experience developing prototypes using 3D printing and other rapid-prototyping methods.
  • Demonstrated experience translating consumer insights, market opportunities, and business objectives into differentiated product concepts and innovation pipelines, with strong expertise in user-centered design, ergonomics, human factors, product architecture, and design-for manufacturing principles.
  • Prior direct people-management experience, including responsibility for performance management, employee development, goal setting, and workload prioritization for technical or design professionals.
  • Ability to support intellectual property development, including patent review, invention generation, and freedom-to-operate activities.
  • Strong project and portfolio management, cross-functional leadership, prioritization, and decision making skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, balance resources, and address competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate product-development trade-offs and make sound recommendations that balance consumer needs, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, cost, development timelines, and commercial objectives.
