About The Position

The control panel wireman assembles electrical components into control panels for industrial machines. The role primarily uses hand tools and requires strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety best practices. The position works under moderate supervision and requires initiative to produce quality work in a timely manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow point-to-point wiring documents.
• Ability to wire equipment according to electrical schematics and layouts.
• Ability to drill and tap, identify and mount components, and assemble components to manufacturers’ specifications.
• Knowledge of general workmanship standards and safety best practices.
• Strong verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptive as a member of the IMS team.
• Initiative to work independently under moderate supervision and produce quality work in a timely manner.
• Ability to work overtime if necessary.

Responsibilities
