About The Position

As an Industrial Construction Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Montreal, Quebec, reporting to the Specialty Manager. This role is crucial for supporting those who build the world, acting as a primary point of contact for the company in the field. You will provide customer service, product knowledge, and sales expertise to end-users, visit various end-user job sites and tool stores in your assigned region, and assist the sales team at distributor sales events. You will also develop new contacts, close sales, build and maintain relationships with end-users and the internal sales team, coordinate and manage major customer purchases, and support our distribution network regarding major user needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing new business in your assigned region.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university.
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing, with a proven track record of achievements.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work some weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Creativity and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including MS Word and Outlook.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the company in the field, providing customer service, product knowledge, and sales expertise to our end-users.

  • Assist the sales team at distributor sales events, develop new contacts, and close sales.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with end-users and the internal sales team.
