About The Position

Hohman Plating, a division of Novaria Group, provides plated coatings to customers in aerospace, medical, large equipment, and other industries. The Industrial Cleaning Associate keeps the processing plant, offices, and grounds clean and orderly. The role calls for someone who can work independently, manage time effectively, and follow company safety and conduct standards. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work independently, manage time, and follow company safety and conduct standards.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, handle or examine parts, and reach with hands and arms regularly; walk, use stairs, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently; and occasionally sit, talk, or hear.
Close vision, color vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum aisles, hallways, stairs, and office spaces.
Clean restrooms, office windows, and doors.
Empty trash and garbage containers into dumpsters.
Perform minor and routine painting and other related building maintenance.
Replace air conditioner filters.
Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, or ventilation equipment.
Clear snow and debris from sidewalks.
Mow the lawn and trim shrubbery.
Document completed tasks and findings on checklists and work orders.
Provide support to Maintenance Technicians.
Perform other duties as assigned.
