About The Position
The Budd Group is hosting an open house event for Industrial Cleaner positions, offering on-the-spot job offers. The role involves demanding physical tasks in a challenging environment, including heavy lifting, working with oil, and cleaning machinery. Safety is a priority, with specific tasks like entering confined spaces and working at heights on catwalks. Shifts available include Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule from 4 AM - 4 PM. The open house events are scheduled for May 12, 2026, and May 19, 2026, from 8 AM to 4 PM, with a lunch break from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. The location is 405 Nash Street Unit 209 Wilson, NC 27893.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to pass a drug and background screening.
- Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. regularly.
- Willingness to complete the job with no excuses.
- Prepared to take a drug screen within 24 hours of job offer.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum.
- Clean restrooms and locker rooms.
- Clean around machinery and equipment to ensure safety.
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed.
- Enter confined spaces in machines to clean the insides.
- Walk on a catwalk 200 ft in the air to access machines.
