Requirements
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Observes safety and security procedures.
Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines.
Reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Uses equipment and materials properly.
Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger motion, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
Regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
Clean all plant areas including, but not limited to, the shop floor, the warehouse floor, docks, washrooms, offices, break rooms, meeting areas, cafeteria and locker rooms.
Restock washrooms, break rooms and cafeterias.
Clean spills and remove garbage.
Limited outside trash pickup, minor salt and snow removal near doorways, and other minor outdoor duties.
Industrial truck driving, including but not limited to, sweeper scrubbers, tote vehicles, burden carriers and forklifts.
Special cleaning projects as required by the customer or assigned by the Company.
