About The Position

We are looking for reliable cleaning staff to join our team! Will perform housekeeping in offices, warehouses, manufacturing areas, and other building interiors. Requirements

High School Diploma, or GED equivalent.
2+ years’ housekeeping experience in an industrial or warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated.
Ability to work independently, and with other Facilities Dept. personnel as a team to complete tasks on schedule.
Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols.
Follow the direction and assignment from direct Group
Must be able to work duration of shift standing, walking, bending and reaching.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to prepare and use various cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning task as assigned
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors by hand, but also using industrial vacuum cleaners, scrubbing/buffing machines.
Cleaning/monitoring of restrooms, entrance/lobby areas, and cafeteria.
Replenish paper products throughout facility.
Collection and disposal of recyclables and trash.
Sometimes using ladders to dust, wash walls, cleans ceilings etc.
Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
Other duties as assigned, as required.
