Requirements

Work in a team environment at a fast pace
Be dependable and accountable to work with team members
Work a rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts/3 to 5 days-per-week, alternating every other weekend including overtime, swinging from day and night each month
Lift 21 – 50 lbs. pounds or more on a regular basis
Lift 51 – 75 lbs. pounds or more on an occasional basis
Work effectively in hot (120) and cold temperatures for long periods of time
Have good math skills
Perform repetitive tasks with few breaks
Able to wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures
High School Graduate or GED

Responsibilities

Monitor and control the cleanliness and flow of metal to the molds
Monitor temperatures and furnace conditions
Daily inspection of casting equipment and cranes
Identify and prevent quality issues including cracks, drag marks, and bleed-outs.
Clean and maintain casting pit
Restock supplies and make control and shutdown cones
