Industrial Automation Specialist
About The Position
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated systems, including shop floor automation (deboning, sizers, DSI), shop floor controls (PLCs, HMIs), inline labelers, hopper scales, palletizers, and feed mill automation (Beta Raven). This role involves maintaining integration interfaces, working with Edge Computing, securing shop floor technology, and operating within the Enterprise Domain across all Koch Facilities. The specialist will liaise with various groups such as Data Center, Network, Security, Support, Software Development, Corp Engineering, Complex & Plant Managers, and Maintenance. Additionally, the position supports the Information Technologies Department in achieving company/division performance, safety, and business goals, and promotes adherence to Koch Safety Programs to minimize work-related injuries.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft software including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and oral skills
- Experience and education in Industrial Automation Controls required
- CAT6 cabling, ability to terminate both male and female jacks based on industry standards
- Use of Flute Network tester
