About The Position

Headquartered in the Pacific Northwest with 14 offices, ATS custom engineers and installs building automation systems to optimize mechanical and electrical systems, reduce energy consumption, increase tenant comfort, and maximize productivity. The Industrial Automation Project Engineer designs and engineers control system hardware and software programming based on project plans and specifications. This role involves analyzing building control and mechanical system performance, ensuring accurate documentation, interfacing with customers, and managing sub-contractors and suppliers. Project financial responsibility increases with tenure.

• ACAD skills
• Engineering undergraduate degree
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Computer programming experience
• Building Mechanical system experience
• Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits

Responsibilities

• Complete control system overall design responsibility
• Control programming and graphic development
• Manage the start-up and commissioning of Automation Systems
• Engineer field changes and maintain as-built documentation
• Conduct on-site owner training as part of project closeout
• Manage time to complete assignments on time and within budget
