As an Industrial Athletic Trainer, you will provide care to industrial athletes in a collaborative manner with PT and OT colleagues. Responsibilities will include leading work conditioning activities, performing pre-employment agility assessments, delivering orthopedic rehabilitation to industrial athletes and be a key member of the case management team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s in athletic training
State licensure and certified by the American Board of Certification
Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members
Build and maintain relationships throughout the community
Orthopedic assessments and documentation
Counseling on concussions, nutrition, mental health, etc.
Coordinated stakeholder communication, e.g., MD, PT, PSC, etc.
Field and venue setup
Leading work conditioning activities
Performing pre-employment agility assessments
Delivering orthopedic rehabilitation to industrial athletes
Being a key member of the case management team
