St. Luke's is seeking an Industrial Athletic Trainer/Injury Prevention Specialist for a full-time position serving clients in the Quakertown and Kulpsville Region. This role involves a Monday-Friday schedule with primarily morning shifts, split between onsite service delivery at a local employer (3 days/week) and clinic-based occupational health services (2 days/week). The onsite duties include injury prevention, ergonomic assessments, wellness support, and occupational health. Clinic duties involve conducting post-offer employment testing, such as functional capacity and lifting assessments, to determine an applicant's ability to safely perform job functions. The specialist will provide athletic training, prevention, and wellness services under the direction of the Medical Director or an Occupational Medicine physician, or by physician referral, in accordance with state regulations. Key responsibilities include implementing injury prevention techniques, conducting job hazard analyses, performing ergonomic assessments, and providing first aid. The role requires meeting professional, clinical, technical, communication, and documentation standards, making decisions based on established guidelines, and operating under OSHA compliance and client site policies. The position also involves acting as a liaison between client companies and the Occupational Medicine Department, maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and assisting management in evaluating program effectiveness and ROI.
