Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration Mechanic

Requirements
- 5 or more years of experience in industrial refrigeration
- Sound mechanical and electrical background, as well as knowledge of welding and plumbing
- Strong computer skills, with ability to interface with various building and control systems
Responsibilities
- Maintain systems in our Rochester distribution and manufacturing facilities
- Repair equipment for emergency and non-emergency needs; perform unsupervised repairs on industrial refrigeration, HVAC and control systems with proper troubleshooting and safety techniques
- Create and maintain timely records of work
- Interact and coordinate with maintenance vendors
- Work and communicate effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed safely and in a timely manner
- Understand and comply with food and human safety procedures while performing maintenance tasks
- Maintain Wegmans’ high standards of quality and incredible customer service at all times
