About The Position
Simon & Schuster is seeking a full case Induction Person for its distribution facility in Delran, NJ.
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred
- Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously including over head
- Able to stand on feet for entire shift
- Able to use RF scanner
- Able to use pallet jack
- Able to work independently
- Ensure the work area is clean at the end of the shift
- Flexible to picking replenishment regarding ASAP orders
- Able to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Able to effectively communicate when needed
- Overtime as needed (both voluntary and mandatory)
Responsibilities
- Throwing cartons on the induction line to meet the days requirements
- Responsible for accurate placement of labels on the cartons to correspond with the designated work number
- Moving pallets to the induction rollers using a reach truck
- Use of pallet jack
- Completing work assignments accurately and timely
- Other duties as assigned
