About The Position

The Induction Furnace Operator is responsible for maintaining furnace control, inspecting parts before and after the heat treat process, examining parts, reading computer controls, and examining processed parts. The work environment is noisy, oily, fast-paced, and physically demanding, involving standing for long periods, performing repetitive tasks, and exposure to oily conditions and dust. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, safety glasses, and appropriate footwear is required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with Heat Treat
  • Self-motivated; able to work without constant supervision
  • Good work ethics: dependable, reliable
  • Able to work in a team environment; gets along with others
  • Good math and computer skills
  • Mechanically inclined; good with hand tools
  • Good communication skills
