About The Position
At John Mini Distinctive Landscapes, we make places beautiful. In our fifth decade, we are recognized as a leader in indoor and outdoor landscaping and holiday design. We design, install and maintain landscapes all over the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. John Mini is looking to hire a Part Time Horticulturist for our Indoor Service team. This position offers 7-8 hours per week. This role serves our distinctive commercial accounts throughout Jersey City. The horticulturist exudes passion for the green industry, and will apply their knowledge and expertise to plantscape care and maintenance (watering, pruning, plant health ID). Friendly, courteous customer service skills are a must!
Requirements
- Friendly, courteous customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-3 years experience with plant care, gardening, or general landscaping
- Educational background in plant science, interior-scape, horticulture, or environmental sciences
- Someone seeking purpose in their work and a passion for the impact their work has on their community
