Individual Giving Manager

MetanoiaNorth Charleston, SC
$60,000 - $65,000

About The Position

The Individual Giving Manager will report to the Director of Strategic Philanthropy and will build and deepen meaningful relationships with individual donors and prospective supporters who help sustain Metanoia’s work. This individual will create thoughtful, consistent, and personalized opportunities for donors to feel connected not only to an organization, but also to a community Metanoia walks alongside in the Chicora and surrounding historically Black neighborhoods. This is a relationship-centered fundraising role for someone who understands that generosity grows through trust, listening, consistency, and authentic human connection. In a time when philanthropy can easily become automated, transactional, and impersonal, the Individual Giving Manager will help Metanoia take a different approach, create and build donor relationships that are personal, grounded in authentic connection to the organization, and meaningful. The Individual Giving Manager will lead Metanoia’s individual giving efforts through intentional stewardship, year-round engagement, personalized outreach and relationship building. This individual will help donors understand the impact of their giving, strengthen donor retention and recurring giving, welcome new supporters into deeper connection with the organization, and create pathways for donors to stay engaged over time. The ideal candidate will be a strong relationship builder who can translate Metanoia’s mission, values, and strategic priorities into donor experiences that reflect the organization’s deeply relational approach to community development — one rooted in listening constantly, walking with families, building on strengths, releasing brilliance, and rejecting barriers.
