About The Position

WNET seeks a fundraising professional to join the Individual Giving team in cultivating, soliciting, and engaging our Patron donors who support WNET’s work with gifts ranging from $1,500 to $24,999 each year. The Individual Giving Associate reports to the Director of Individual Giving and supports all operational aspects of solicitation, recognition, and stewardship of individual Patron donors. They will be a key player in cultivating a rapidly growing mid-level giving Patron Program at WNET.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of donor database management (experience in Salesforce preferred)
• Availability to participate in evening events

Responsibilities

• Manage dedicated communication lines (phone and email) for Patrons, providing primary donor relations support including Passport troubleshooting, gift facilitation, and tax acknowledgements
• Assist in the execution and implementation of a robust patron stewardship program, including the creation and distribution of the monthly Patron Newsletter, new patron outreach, and weekly gift acknowledgements, Annual Review, and annual donor statements
• Assist with program-wide administration related to fundraising initiatives, proposals, and special campaigns
• In collaboration with Gift Processing and Development Operations, maintain rigorous data hygiene for patron constituency in donor database (Salesforce)
• Build strong personal relationships with mid-level donors through strategic phone calls, personalized email communications, and events participation
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors from $1,500 to $10,000+
• Provide essential in-person and virtual event support for the Patron Program and other donor engagement opportunities throughout the year
• Additional duties, as assigned
