About The Position

The Indirect Sourcing Manager is responsible for the full sourcing lifecycle across Future Form’s indirect spend categories: capital equipment (domestic and international), construction and facilities, software and SaaS, and MRO. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, with broad ownership and high visibility across the organization. This position sits at the intersection of procurement strategy, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration. The Indirect Sourcing Manager will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align sourcing activities with project timelines and capital budgets and will play a key role in building the procurement infrastructure needed to support Future Form’s growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ YEARS OF INDIRECT PROCUREMENT OR STRATEGIC SOURCING EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN A MANUFACTURING OR INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT
  • DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE SOURCING CAPEX — CAPITAL EQUIPMENT PROCUREMENT, SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION, AND HIGH-VALUE CONTRACT NEGOTIATION, INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL SUPPLIERS
  • STRONG CONTRACT NEGOTIATION SKILLS WITH THE ABILITY TO MANAGE SUPPLIER AGREEMENTS INDEPENDENTLY ACROSS COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, AND RISK TERMS
  • ABILITY TO OPERATE EFFECTIVELY IN AN AMBIGUOUS, FAST-PACED ENVIRONMENT WITH LIMITED PROCESS INFRASTRUCTURE — THIS ROLE REQUIRES INITIATIVE AND OWNERSHIP, NOT A DEFINED PLAYBOOK

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP, particularly procurement, vendor management, or purchasing modules
  • Background in construction, facilities, or capital project procurement
  • Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, or SharePoint-based procurement workflows
  • Familiarity with import/export processes and international supplier management
  • Prior experience in a lean manufacturing or high-growth operations environment
  • CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent supply chain / procurement certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead all indirect sourcing activities across assigned categories: capital equipment, construction and facilities, software and SaaS, and MRO. Own the full procurement lifecycle from need identification through purchase order execution and supplier performance management.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for each category, including competitive bidding (RFQ/RFP), supplier qualification, and total cost of ownership analysis. Manage both domestic and international supplier relationships across all categories.
  • Negotiate and execute supplier agreements, MSAs, and purchase terms. Partner with Finance and leadership on contract execution, approval routing, and compliance with Future Form’s PO policy and approval thresholds.
  • Build and maintain a preferred supplier base across indirect categories. Conduct supplier performance reviews, track KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to align procurement activities with CAPEX project timelines, construction schedules, and operational budgets. Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and act as the procurement point of contact for indirect spending decisions.
  • Support the ongoing NetSuite ERP implementation as it relates to indirect procurement workflows, vendor master setup, PO approvals, and spend visibility. Champion adoption of the ad hoc PO request system and drive process compliance across departments.
  • Identify and drive cost reduction and process improvement opportunities across indirect categories. Track and report savings, supplier performance, and category spend to the CSCO on a regular cadence.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor documentation, and contract files in accordance with company policy and audit requirements.
