As an Indirect Procurement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by developing and implementing global procurement strategies for assigned categories (Capital Equipment and Construction) to ensure business continuity and value creation. You will also establish and manage supplier relationships that ensure cost and service benefits to the corporation, negotiate and establish effective supplier contract agreements, holding suppliers accountable to competitive prices, high quality and best-in-class service, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize activities for the successful integration of the procurement strategies for the assigned categories (Capital Equipment and Construction) as well as overall procurement guidelines and processes. Leading complex projects as well as initiatives that have a high value and broad implication to the corporation will also be a key part of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and six (6) years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, or Legal in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of experience in Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, Engineering, or Legal in a private, public, government or military environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics and Supply Chain from an accredited institution
  • Negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • Skilled written and oral communications
  • Working knowledge of Capital Equipment and Construction supplier markets
  • Stakeholder management/influencing skills at a senior level.
  • Business, contract language and financial acumen.
  • Additional language capabilities in German, Polish and/or French
