Indirect Loan Processor
About The Position
The Loan Processor 1 - Indirect is responsible for processing loan applications from Branch staff and Indirect Dealers. This role involves verifying system information against paper copies for completeness and accuracy, reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with bank procedures and regulations, and preparing necessary forms and closing documents. The position also requires entering indirect loan applications from dealers into the system and verifying indirect closing documentation. A key aspect of the role is demonstrating the Five Star Bank experience through excellent customer service and high-performance behaviors such as teamwork and leading by example.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ Years of Loan Processing experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new and existing banking software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet assigned deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy.
- Responds to requests for information in a timely and professional manner.
- Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Extensive computer usage is required.
Responsibilities
- Receives direct loan applications from branch staff and verifies system information to paper copy for completeness and accuracy in preparation for Underwriter review.
- Reviews documentation to ensure that loans follow established bank procedures and compliance regulations. Prepares additional forms as required.
- Prepares direct loan closing documents for branch locations, assuring accuracy and completeness of all necessary closing items.
- Receives indirect loan applications from dealers to enter into the system in preparation for Underwriter review.
- Verifies indirect closing documentation to system information and updates as necessary.
- Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
