About The Position

In short, the Indirect Funding Specialist works with 3rd party dealers and internal partners to verify contract packages. The Agent will demonstrate proficiency in the underwriting policies and procedures through reviewing and verifying loan documents as well as corresponding with dealer partners to resolve pending items. In long, the Indirect Funding Specialist is responsible for: Ability to complete deal reviews with a high sense of urgency while maintaining an emphasis on accuracy. Use knowledge and background to identify opportunities within the deal packet. Analyze and assess information gathered and use effective judgment to detect and avoid fraudulent activity and ensure adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and credit stipulations on assigned contracts. Provide escalations and overview of deals through notes and touchpoints. Professional communication with dealership partners. Ownership/involvement in specialized department processes and projects as needed. Appropriately address dealer questions and educate dealer partners on our funding policy as opportunities arise. Foster internal relationships and thrive by partnering with Dealer Specialists and other departments.
