About The Position

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company and a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking an Indirect Category Manager. This role is responsible for developing and executing the category strategy for Facility & Equipment Services and Facility CAPEX globally. The position supports the sourcing and procurement of facility services such as equipment preventative maintenance, security services and systems, EHS related services, janitorial and groundskeeping. It also supports Facility Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) including new machinery/equipment, and facility/office upgrades, expansions, and space re-designs. The role reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Sourcing and is part of the Strategic Sourcing team within the Global Integrated Supply Chain organization. This position can be located at Pall Corporation's Deland, FL or Cortland, NY sites, or remotely within a reasonable commuting distance of either location. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred, with 3+ years of experience; OR no degree with 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, or Supplier Relationship Management
  • 3+ years of Indirect or Direct Sourcing & Procurement experience in a global manufacturing environment - Indirect strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of Category Management experience with Facility & Equipment Services, and Facility CAPEX projects
  • 3+ years of Contracting experience including drafting, redlining, and negotiating with vendors and supplier relationship management
  • 3+ years of Data Analytics experience in a Supply Chain related capacity, e.g. performing spend analysis for in-scope category management

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in SAP 4HANA or similar ERP system within Supply Chain related role(s)
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain transformation initiative(s)
  • Previous experience in Change Management, especially with internal cross-functional stakeholders and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy development for in-scope categories
  • Partner with global stakeholders to implement and execute category strategies
  • Identify cost savings and working capital improvement opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with Facilities, Operations, Engineering, Finance, and others throughout project identification & execution
  • Solve problems and champion continuous process improvements for in-scope categories and throughout the business
