The Indirect Procurement Category Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to deliver value across Arclin's indirect spend portfolio. This role involves leading strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and category planning, in close collaboration with various internal departments. Success will be measured by cost reduction, supply risk mitigation, improved supplier performance, and support for operational excellence in a multi-site manufacturing setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related commercial functions.
  • Proven success leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract development.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or capital project environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed to manufacturing facilities and supplier locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA or JD Edwards and proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and procurement analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute category strategies across indirect spend categories including MRO, facilities, industrial services, capital equipment, professional services, and related categories.
  • Lead RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, supplier selection processes, and commercial negotiations.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, process improvements, and supplier performance enhancements.
  • Build strong supplier partnerships while managing supplier performance, risk, and compliance.
  • Utilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) principles to support sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support manufacturing operations, capital projects, and enterprise procurement initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive adoption of procurement best practices and systems.
