This role is responsible for executing strategic purchasing strategies to support the successful delivery of indirect goods and services for all Bioventus locations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years experience in an indirect procurement role.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Strong PC application skills of various software packages (Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good analytical and negotiating skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work dynamically in a fast paced environment building strong partnerships and driving sustainable results.

Nice To Haves

• CPM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support all purchasing policies and procedures.
• Meet routinely with internal business partners to maintain best in class purchasing category strategies that drive performance with regard to cost, quality & delivery.
• Maintain a deep and current knowledge of assigned purchasing categories.
• In cooperation with internal business partners, develop and maintain supplier key performance indicators.
• Lead a standardized sourcing, supplier approval and contracting process across assigned categories negotiating the most favorable terms and conditions based on total cost of ownership.
• Serve as a company contact for all procurement related questions on policy, process, training and support.
• Proactively and effectively address and resolve issues as they are presented.
• Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus’ Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.
• Other duties as assigned.
