The Indigenous Relations Advisor plays a key role in strengthening the development and execution of Atura Power’s Indigenous relations program. Reporting to the Director, Environment & External Affairs, the role works in collaboration with the Senior Indigenous Relations Advisor and is responsible for engagement activities on assigned projects and building and maintaining relationships with Indigenous Nations and communities. The Advisor will contribute to engagement strategy, partnership development, and project planning, working closely with internal teams and external partners to support Atura Power’s business objectives and broader commitment to reconciliation. The role values both professional experience and Indigenous knowledge, lived experience, community connection, and relationship-based ways of working. This role may be well suited to an Indigenous candidate who brings experience working with, for, or within First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit communities, and who is comfortable taking ownership of assigned files, exercising sound judgment, and working in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.
