Candidates who apply may be selected to attend a 4-week training program at Keyano College. Above all else, we are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Tuition costs are covered, but candidates will not be paid while attending classroom training at Keyano. Upon successful completion of training, candidates may commence a paid, up to 6-month coop at Syncrude Mildred Lake or Syncrude Aurora Mine. Placements will be determined by the business. Requirements

  • Must self-declare as Indigenous Status / Non-status.
  • A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma (GED) or Canadian Adult Educational Credential (CAEC) or 10+ years of work experience.
  • Have a valid full Class 5 Drivers License at time of application.
  • Must currently reside within the RMWB.
