The Tla’amin Nation is seeking an Indigenous Cultural Support Worker to provide cultural, emotional, and social support to Indigenous clients experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team, advocating for clients, and facilitating connections to internal and external resources. The position also includes co-facilitating healing circles, cultural activities, and public education, as well as collaborating with Elders and traditional teachers. The Indigenous Cultural Support Worker will also perform administrative duties, maintain statistics, and participate in quality improvement activities. This role will work closely with the Mental Health & Wellness team at Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH).
