This full-time term position, located in Victoria, is for an Indigenous Community Legal Worker-Advocate/Paralegal. The primary function is to liaise with Indigenous communities and agencies, providing advocacy, administrative support, legal information and advice, early intervention, education, community outreach, and referrals to address civil and poverty law issues affecting Indigenous people. Legal Aid BC seeks talent from equity-seeking groups and encourages applicants to self-identify. Preference will be given to applicants of Indigenous Ancestry.
