About The Position

Golden Harvest® is seeking self-motivated individuals with entrepreneurial aspirations to operate their own businesses as Independent Seed Advisors. Advisors promote Golden Harvest corn and soybean seed products by selling, distributing, and servicing them directly to growers. They operate independently while receiving support from local and national Syngenta agribusiness professionals. This opportunity is not an offer of employment; Independent Seed Advisors are self-employed in partnership with Golden Harvest.

Responsibilities

Deliver plans and offers to target customers.
Create customer-level demand by educating customers about products and building interest in Syngenta solutions.
Act as a steward of the Syngenta portfolio by making recommendations and managing field concerns in partnership with Agronomy.
Recommend product placement to improve customer satisfaction.
Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory and district.
Collect and report market intelligence and relevant value-chain insights regularly.
Manage the operational budget, variable selling expenses, and marketing funds within district guidelines.
Develop the assigned territory by adding new farmers.
Accurately forecast for customers within the territory.
Develop a territory-level business plan identifying opportunities, must-wins, and tactics to grow territory sales.
