About The Position

FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Marion County, Alabama, and surrounding communities. This role offers the opportunity to earn supplemental or full-time income on your own schedule. As a Field Inspector, you will perform brief, exterior visits to confirm property occupancy status and report on general conditions. The company emphasizes accuracy, reliability, and professional autonomy. Standard inspections are designed for speed, typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site, and contractors manage their own routing, schedule, and territory. The role involves determining property occupancy status, capturing photos, and submitting reports using mobile applications, while maintaining reliability for territory coverage and deadlines. This position requires significant driving in a rural county with longer distances between stops, making a fuel-efficient vehicle and comfort with country roads valuable.

Requirements
