About The Position
Precision Deliveries, a division of the FastFrate Group, is seeking reliable and professional Courier Owner Operators to join our Ottawa Terminal team for evening deliveries. This role, operating Monday to Friday with potential weekend overflow, involves delivering small, medium, and big and bulky e-commerce packages. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and provide excellent customer service throughout their routes, starting and loading in Ottawa, ON, with deliveries beginning by 8 am.
Requirements
- Own vehicle: Cargo van or Minivan in good condition.
- Insurance: Valid policy with $2 million liability coverage.
- $10-$25 thousand dollars of cargo transport insurance
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no more than 3 demerit points)
- Smartphone with data plan for route management and signature capture.
- Ability to lift and carry small packages safely.
- Strong time management and reliability.
- Independent contractor position (must provide proof of insurance and vehicle ownership)
Responsibilities
- Pick up packages at our Ottawa terminal
- Deliver small packages, medium size packages and big and bulky packages to residential and business addresses
- Maintain timely and efficient route completion.
- Provide exceptional customer service during each interaction.
