About The Position

Pathmark Transportation is seeking quality independent contractors for local and OTR (Over-the-Road) routes operating out of our Jackson, MS location. This role requires you to own your own truck and authority. We are specifically looking for contractors with 26 FT Box trucks and Day Cab Tractors. Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight as required by the customer for delivery routes. You will be utilizing a handheld scanner to capture data on all cartons, and deliveries must be made within specified windows. The ability to maintain a steady, safe pace and provide a professional and positive customer experience is essential.

Requirements

• Must own your own truck.
• Must own your own authority.
• Must have a valid authority up to 1 year.
• Provide a valid insurance that meets company standards.
• Must own a 26FT Box truck or a Day Cab Tractor.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to handle freight up to 70LBS
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or equipment promptly.
