About The Position
We are seeking reliable Independent Contractors and Owner Operators who own or lease a cargo van, sprinter van, or pickup truck with trailer to support the pick-up and delivery of bulky construction materials. Join our network and help us deliver efficient, high-quality transportation services.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must own or lease one of the following: Cargo Van (minimum 10 ft; examples: Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, Mercedes Sprinter), Cargo/Sprinter Van with Trailer, Pickup Truck with Trailer (trailer must be suitable for hauling construction materials)
- Trailers must be at least 20 ft in length
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Proven delivery driving experience with an emphasis on safety and professionalism
- Experience operating cargo vans, sprinter vans, or pickup trucks with trailers
- Experience towing and maneuvering a trailer (for trailer-equipped vehicles)
- Ability to lift and move heavy items; must be comfortable with the physical demands of the role
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Cargo Vans / Sprinter Vans: Auto Liability: Minimum $100,000 combined single limit, Cargo Insurance: Minimum $25,000 limit per occurrence
- Pickup Trucks with Trailers / Vans with Trailers: Auto Liability: Minimum $100,000 combined single limit, Cargo Insurance: Minimum $25,000 limit per occurrence
- Trailer must be properly registered and rated for the load being hauled
Responsibilities
- Safely operate your cargo van, sprinter van, or pickup truck/trailer combo to complete scheduled pickups and deliveries
- Load, secure, and unload materials — primarily construction materials
- Properly secure loads on trailers using appropriate tie-downs, straps, or equipment
- Ensure items are handled and transported with care
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients and recipients
- Maintain accurate delivery records via mobile apps or paper logs
- Follow all safety and transportation guidelines
