About The Position

Mercury Critical Courier LLC. is seeking professional, quality focused, independent contractors / owner operators in the Raleigh/Durham area. Mercury is the gold standard in healthcare logistics, where every delivery ensures vital care reaches its destination in time to make the difference. We coordinate healthcare logistics; you run your independent courier business. Together, we save lives.

Requirements

Operate as independent business entity (LLC/Corp pref.)
Provide vehicle in excellent mechanical condition (preference: 2016+ white van, but not required)
Android/iOS phone w/ data
Age 21+
Clean driving record (3+ years)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Clear background / 10-panel drug screening and MVR check required by certain shippers
Vendor Services Agreement upon contract
TSA Certification and web-based training is available once contracted
Provide EIN#
Provide Driver’s License
Provide DOT # (if your vehicle is over 10K; no vehicles over 26K)
Provide Vehicle Registration
Provide Headshot Photo
Provide Front, Side, and Rear Vehicle Photo
Provide Proof of Insurance
Provide Worker’s Compensation or Occupational Accident per state statute or $1MM Occ/Acc
Provide Auto - $100K/$300K per occurrence
Mercury Critical Couriers listed on COI as Additionally Insured -or- While Under Dispatch insurance is offered

Responsibilities

Scan, secure and deliver parcels within committed time windows.
Update POD in our smartphone app; no paperwork.
Operate as independent business entity (LLC/Corp pref.)
